This original oil on canvas, signed “Hoffman” in the lower right,
was painted by Beaumont, Texas artist, ‘Wai-Wai’ Hoffman. This is a still
life of white azaleas from her garden. Mrs. Hoffman, whose real first
name was Waifie, was a much-traveled artist, and studied under professional
artists in Rio De Janeiro, Paris, and New York. She picked out all the frames
for her paintings.
